I visited this place on 20th November with my family (day visit). The place is serene, quiet and really lovely. Thopate family’s hospitality was very good. Mr Thopate’s precise navigating helped us to visit Nighoj kund nearby (around 23km) quite easily. Food too was excellent. Its a typical village life (visiting farms, bullock cart, tractor ride, etc). People expecting resort like treatment should start enjoying this kind of atmosphere.
We saw almost a dozen peacocks and peahens in the evening. One of the peacock was just outside our car for almost half an hour. My only suggestion is people should remain completely quiet to observe peacocks. Only then can we see larger numbers. And of course they certainly do not seem to be Mr Thopate’s pets as commented by people here.

We visited this panoramic location on 27 th oct 2011.It is pleasant , peaceful and peacocks are a divine sight. Mr Janardhan does his best to explain the Agriculture he is doing in the 8 acre plot and is very helpful.Overnight stay is must for siting peacock dance. recommend going on non week ends for maximum comfort.
Peace & tranquility is well practiced in this location close to (20kms) from Sikrapur , off Pune Nagar road. One can enjoy the serenity just 50 kms away form pune….

also Mr. Thopte was so rude to us that he even didnt allow us to go in his farms, as he always thinks that people will destroy his farm.He charged us 100/- per head only for a cup of coffee and one plate kanda bhajii.

watching peacocks was fun….but.. unfortunately the food was not worth. I visited this place twice but both the times our experience about the food was not good. It was tasteless.

Though watching peocock is fun… but watching peocock at Mauli Krushi Paryatan kendra would NOT be fun rather you would feel disgust, the way you are handled unprofessionaly by these people.

There are many paryatan kedra are available to see peococks.
I will suggest people not to go at Mauli Paryatan kedra. As we had faced the bad treatment from the Mr Janarthan Thopade Tour Guide.

We could only see 1 peacock and I think it was a pet to this family. Lots of ‘Landor’ birds around. Lady asked for 50 Rs per person for a visit of 1 hour. There are no boards or even on website information around what the charges are to visit this place. This is a pvt place and not run by Govt.

Please keep low expectations and do not go just based on this website!

I have visited the same place, Mauli Krushi Parytan Kendra once, it was a warm welcome by the family members. but it is suggested for a day tour only. not for stay. as there is lot of scope for improvement.
