I really enjoyed to stay in your home.
All of your family were very warm and kind, so we enjoyed accompany with them.
Also we all were amazed to taste the good food!
(The indian food I like the most was prampoli, so I was extremely happy to have that!!)

I would like to recommend your village to visit to other Japanese people living in Pune.
It was a nice experience to see the nature, animals, and life of agricultural family.

Thank you so much for letting us stay with your family.

About the charges, Dattarya and his family said we need to keep the money in front of the God whatever we thought was appropriate. It didn’t really matter whatever we kept. They even called back in the evening to check whether we had reached safely.

I was deeply moved to see how these simple people lived, kept a complete faith in humanity and struggle to preserve our tradition. It was far far away from the material world running like crazy after money!

We visited the mauli krishi kendra in may 2015.we reached there around 8.15am.we were served breakfast of tea and poha and lunch was so simple, no Maharashtra koshimbir not any chatani.sweet was also limited. Mr.Dhopate charged us Rs.500 per person which is very high as compared to quality of food, ambience, service. He is a very rude person. Instead I will suggest if any body just want to watch peacock then reach morachi chicholi in the morning around 5am, watch peacock till 8 to 9 am.go back, have food enroute. Or come in the evening around at 4 o’clock, watch peacock till 7o’clock and go back.if any body want to stay there check with another centre but not with Mauli Krishi kendra of Mr.Dhopate. Just to watch peacock no need to go any centre.you can watch them freely in the farms of chicholi village.

nice place to visit for one time but waiting for peacock is making us sick the timing are odd , MR Janardhan shows all the plants and also explains in details, but he has to change his attitude , at times he is very rude . evening snacks was not provided only tea. no khanda bhajiya . very simple maharashtrian food, morning we were given khande phohe and hot tea.

his web site is very attractive but in real it is not like that, afternoon are boring no indoor games or entertainment,
if you have to go , in group or else it is boring

it was a very superb experience to watch peacocks dancing in front of you. it was like watching some live performances. i and my husband loved it . the place was quite and cool breeze blew continously. food was delicious and Thopate family’s hospitality was pleasing and they were very friendly. But it is very difficult to spend whole day over there doing nothing and the timing when we can see peacocks are odd either we reach early morning or wait till late evening.

I visited this place yesterday(09/3/2014) and had a terrible experience. The lady there, maybe, Mrs Thopate is very cranky. She has no sense of speaking. Running a business on tourism, this behaviour is so not acceptable. Terrible place. Please do not visit this place, there are better places around, please check those out.

Very costly and not more fun. We reached there at lunch time. According to the website the lunch was great but we found that we were served all simple and cold food which was made hot again and again. Only chapatis and bhakris were o.k. After lunch while having rest we were told that the peacocks will be arriving soon but we were shown peacocks from a far away distance and children cannot trace them at all. Only fun for the kids was the paddle boat and tractor. Otherwise everything over there was boring. At night the food served was stale. Remaining afternoon rice was served as Masala Rice. Bhaji was only spicy. No taste at all. Kids were not willing to eat that. Good we took fruits with us and some snacks also. In the morning again the restrictions started not to go here and there peacocks will be arriving. Dont go there again. Not worth at all. Only o.k. for 1 day picnic but that too Rs.1000/- are very costly.

A trip I wish I can forget. The food was horrible and Mr Janardhan was most impolite. Inspite of we booking in advance for 30 pax which includes 15 kids, the food served was short. No milk / coffee was served, reason being its over.
It was good that we had bought to eat from our homes else we would starved ourselves. My strong recommendation – never visit this place again.

It was a great experience for me.. As Mr Janardan Thopate and his wife are very welcoming………..loved the place and saw lots of peacocks. dancing eating grain along the fields.

Pravin Pandit · March 18, 2013 at 5:00 pm

Comparatively costly and not more fun as in Malhar krushi paryatan. We are prity boar in this place. Dont go there…

Ather Adil · February 20, 2013 at 12:00 am

We went this weekend and found it really worth. Mr Janardan showed very good hospotality. It was very good location with fields of custard apple, mango, tomato, around. Entering into the premises of Mauli paryatan rejuvinates you. Lunch was amazing with traditional marathi taste. By evening, peacocks started coming in. This place is a great change from routine life of a metro. If you have small ones of 5-10 yrs, I am sure they gonna love this place.

Must say, Morachi Chincholi is a wonderful weekend destination that is pretty close to Mumbai.
We visited this place in December last year and were overwhelmed with the hospitality and service offered by Mr. Janardhan Thopate and his family.
A truly amazing place for nature lovers!! You get a chance to experience the village life and the culture and tradition that Mr. Janardhan and has family has maintained so well- take a walk in the fields, go for a tracker ride, hear the birds chirping, the peacock’s cry. The best part is you get to watch the peacocks in their natural habitat.. such beautiful and vibrant birds!! You need not go far to watch them. Infact, they come to Mr. Janardhan’s home itself.
Last but not the least, the food is deliciously good and overnite stay facilities are also suitable!!
We had planned to visit this place only to see peacocks but the place turned out to be over and above our expectations!!! We did leave with beautiful memories only to visit them very soon..!!

For a long time we had planned to visit this place and, at last, we visited this wonderful place yesterday with our little one of 3yrs….A truly amazing experience…not only for the peacocks which are in abundance in early morning and evening…but also for the varieties of cultivation which is being carried out here….Our guide Mr. Janardan was thoroughly knowledged in the farming activities and it was evident from the briefing he gave us on-field while he showed us around the cultivation…..it was almost evening and the Peacocks started arriving one by one…..it is A Majestic Bird…no wonder it’s our National Bird….Next Time we plan to visit this place with Friends and Family for a overnight visit. Thank you for your hospitality and kindness. I strongly recommend this place for a Family Weekend Outing…….

Bakul Tanksale · December 10, 2012 at 3:42 pm

Just the perfect first trip that we’d have wanted for our lil one.
My 9 month old daughter loved the place. All the animals, the tractor ride, bullock cart ride and peacocks..
Thank you for your hospitality and for making all the adjustments that we needed for our lil one.
