Early hours in the morning 06:00AM – 08:00AM and in evening 05:00PM – 07:00PM are the perfect times for watching peacocks.
Once you reach to our home, you’ll have delicious breakfast prepared by our Aunt. And then can go around our farm in tractor/bullock cart to enjoy the various outdoor activities, total drip irrigation for mango & custard apple , swings in field, Diesel engine, farmer’s tools for cultivation.
As you’re going to travel from Pune/Mumbai, which would not be possible to reach this much early. So in the afternoon, my Uncle Janardan will accompany you and will take you closer to their dwelling place, but some times, peacocks run away if they see stranger coming closer to them. So you’d maintain safe distance from peacocks.

You’d plan in such a way that, you can arrive at lunch time. After lunch you can take nap in the cool shadow of Mango Trees in our field.
After that, you can enjoy a walk around our village to glimpse the wonders of countryside life and get prepared for peacock viewing in the evening.
Enjoy dinner with our family members under open sky in the presence of moon & stars (which you miss in the city culture).
In early morning, you can get up and observe the peacocks arriving near our home for their morning feed.
Shivar pheri (trip around the village in tractor/bullock cart) and get overview of cultivation and farming followed by our farmers in Morachi Chincholi.
[In over night stay, you'll be staying with our family in our home, so that you can experience the rural culture closely]
i) We, as family, belong to Varkari sampradaay, so the meals provided at our home are strictly vegetarian. Packaged drinking water will be served for overnight stay tourists.
ii) Alcohol, tobacco & smoking are strictly prohibited.
iii) Side seeing charges will be extra for Nighoj (Ranjan Khalage on kukadi river – world famous Pot holes), Ranjangaon, Malthan and near by culturally valued villages.
iv) 10% discount will be offered on group booking from Monday to Friday.
we vist the place on 19 feb 2012 to morache chincholi sunday.
It was very bad place to visit &waste of time &money.mr thopate was very rude .we where total 42 persons including children.food was ok.there is only one peacock there,he totaly blame us for not seening more peacock after receiving money. At evening no snacks where giving.his worker also demanded for more tips.There is nothing for side visit in his farm.We all where totaly disapointed .my adivise is think before you visit.
There are lots of peacock in sahakarnagar (Taljaye) entery is free

Kids too enjoyed a day in farms and watching peacocks. A place everyone MUST visit. The whole Thopate family is very kind and loving and takes care of each and every person visiting the farm. It was truly a refreshing visit. Surely will visit again. Friends do visit and share your experience. Thanks to Thopate kaka and kaku for the delicious breakfast and lunch.

Thanks for the website, otherwise we would not have known about such a wonderful place so near to Pune. We spend the whole day with the thopate Family. The Family is very very generous, cordial and great company to be with, they surely treat us all royally and very much part of there family. One suggestion though from side my to all the people traveling to this place make sure you carry a good Binocular and High Optical Zoom Lens Camera (at least 10X Optical Zoom). Peacock is a very shy bird hence he will not come very close to you.
Tanmaya please convey our utmost thanks to all your family members for such a wonderful day. Also I have posted some picture of Nighoj on my website. I could not take many Peacock photograph since I was not carrying the right Camera, but that is for the next time.
