15th Aug [Independence Day] is coming closer. This time, most of you are getting consecutive 2 days holidays on this occasion. You must be planning for some tour for coming weekend. Early morning on the Vat Savitri Vrata occassion, all married women in the village perform custom bath and dress in traditional saree and golden ornaments. For the period of the pooja, these all saubhagyavatis offer prasad to Goddesses Savitri Devi and adore her with greatest dedication. Vata Savitri pooja is particularly devoted to the married life of Savitri and Satyavant, is devoted to Sati Savitri, who concur with Lord Yamaa (God of death in Hindu culture), and finally got his husband alive from death.
